Achilles Sellihca qualifies Solution Management as suppliers


Achilles Sellihca recently qualified us for their General Business Software supplier registry. This means we are pre-qualified for many leading Nordic utilities.

Selihca is a supplier registry and pre-qualification system. It is used by the Nordic utilities to manage supplier data and risk within the supply chain. The system helps ensure procurements are efficient and in accordance with EU regulations. Currently they have over 4400 suppliers registered in various fields. Our field is General Business Software, where we deliver solutions and services for Document Management/Enterprise Information Management and Business Process Management. Sellihca offers fair and open way to evaluate and select suppliers.

The Achilles Sellihca community

The Sellihca community was launched in 1998. It is continuously developed together with the Nordic utilities to cover their supplier management needs. We recently joined this community and are pre-qualified for Sellihca buyers.

TIBCO Nimbus 9.5.1, our thoughts

TIBCO Nimbus 9.5.1 was recently released. After using this version for our own processes and customer projects, we would like to share our experiences. TIBCO has listened to feedback, added a few features and made some improvements here and there. The Webserver in TIBCO Nimbus 9.5.1 offers more functionality and control. The Web Authoring has also been further developed in this version, but it still has a way to go before it is a viable option for serious mapping.

Support discontinued for older Nimbus versions

TIBCO Nimbus are discontinuing support for older versions of the software, as stated in their official notice:

On July 16, 2015 TIBCO announced plans to officially discontinue the following: TIBCO Nimbus, previously known as TIBCO Nimbus Control or Nimbus Control versions 8.1.x and 9.0.x:

TIBCO Nimbus versions 9.0.x and 8.1.x (LBN 44491)
We will discontinue support for the listed products version(s) on July 31, 2016. Until that time, Support will answer product questions, but enhancements and service pack releases will not be provided. If you are still using this product version, we request that you migrate, as soon as possible, to a supported release of the product. Check the TIBCO Product Download Site ( for the most recent release when planning your upgrade.

Extended Support will not be available.

If you use TIBCO Nimbus as part of your quality management system, it is recommended that you subscribe to their news and Knowledge Base at their support site. This ensures that you receive important information regarding the software. Please read this guide to subscribing.

It is recommended that Nimbus customers plan their upgrade to a supported version well in advance of the date their support is discontinued.

Subscribing to updates on TIBCO Nimbus

Some of our customers have not been able to transition entirely to the new ways of TIBCO Nimbus support. Since Nimbus support was incorporated into the rest of the TIBCO support system, they are reached through the TIBCO support site. At this site, there are a few things to look out for in order to get it working if you are an existing customer. Therefore, we have created a small guide below.


Creating an account – Step 1

At, there is a link under ”Register” which takes you to the registration form. The same account is used for both the TIBCO Support Central and the TIBCO eDelivery (software download) site, and is therefore crucial for upgrades and logging service requests.


Creating an account – Step 2


This is the part that gets a little confusing at times. Before creating an account, TIBCO asks that you try to recall one or more of the following:

  • The name of an existing support user at your company.
  • Your company’s ’TIBCO Download Account Name’. Your company may already have such an account if TIBCO Nimbus was downloaded before the new site was implemented.
  • The name of your TIBCO Account Representative, usually the person who ordered or supervised the implementation of Nimbus.

These pieces of information speed up the process and are most easily found from within the company. It may be helpful to access old e-mail interactions between Nimbus Partners/TIBCO Nimbus and the person at your company responsible for Nimbus at the time of the most recent installation.

The next page is the registration form. If you remembered the information requested in the last page, that will speed up the registration process immensely.


Using the Support Central

In the Support Central you can keep track of your service requests and send new ones. You can also read the TIBCO Knowledge Base and subscribe to updates about your TIBCO softwares.

If you follow the clicks below, you can subscribe to useful articles from the Knowledge Base (KB) and the Latest Breaking News (LBN). This means you will know the moment a new bugfix is released and other important information.
